HH Children's Programming and Childcare

Congregation Kadimah Toras-Moshe is pleased to, once again, offer supervised, safe programming on the High Holidays.

Our own Master Storyteller Andrea Kamens will take us on her magic carpet to witty and wise times limited only by the imagination.

  • We are arranging a program for younger children, hopefully with the participation of their parents, where they can have a holiday synagogue experience, some singing, some stories, and some movement. (also snacks)

  • The program will begin around 10:30 AM with a service for younger children that will include some singing and some movement. At about 10:45 Andrea will do storytelling for children and families. Following storytelling, we will have a snack of healthy food and treats. We welcome parents through the entire program however,  in order for children to eat, there must be a parent or adult guardian with each family group. Children may not eat unsupervised. We will be arranging Shofar blowing in the Beit Midrash so that parents do not have to miss Shofar to help their kids with snack.

All members of the household who are eligible for the vaccine, of any of the children who are participating in any of the children’s programming absolutely must be vaccinated. This includes any guests in the house. There can be no exceptions to this.

In addition, no children should be brought to shul if they have symptoms or have had a known recent exposure to someone who had COVID.

Yizkor Book 5782 (2021-2022)

Our congregation prints a booklet with the Yizkor prayers and a list of individuals who we remember in a special way with those prayers. We use this booklet throughout the year, and we would like to include the names of the people that you wish to remember. The Yizkor prayers are printed in the book in Hebrew, English and Russian, enabling everyone to fully participate.

The cost is $25 to participate and that includes listing three names. Additional names can be listed for $5 each. Filling the form on line will allow you to pay by credit card, and will allow us to process your form and donation more quickly. However, if you prefer to pay by check, you may fill out the enclosed form and return it with a check to the KTM office as soon as possible. Please be sure to write “yizkor book” in the memo line, and to include your telephone number and an email address so that if necessary, we can check the spelling or answer any question me might have.

To participate in the Yizkor book please follow this link.
