High Holidays 5779 Program for Children
High Holidays 5779 Program for Children
Please see form at the bottom of this page
Schedule of the Children's Program
Babysitting and childcare are provided upstairs for the majority of the service, including all of Musaf9 am until 1:30 pm on both days of Rosh Hashanah and 9 am until 3:00 pm on Yom Kippur.
Children will be escorted downstairs for the Shofar service on Rosh Hashanah to be with their parents for shofar. Upstairs programming will include children's services for ages 0-3, storytelling and story play by a professional storyteller for all ages up to bat and bar mitzvah, and a kid kiddush including lunchtime food and treats on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
This is provided as part of your high holiday tickets thanks to a generous donation from the KTM Sisterhood, though extra donations are always welcome and appreciated.
You must check in with and pro-actively communicate with the babysitters when you leave your child and when you are taking them home for the day. Babysitters will come downstairs into services to get parents as needed for everyone's comfort and safety.
We need to know how many children and of what ages in order to properly plan for safe supervision. Please fill out this form if you are bringing children to KTM even if you are not sure you will be using childcare. Children and/or their parents are expected to help with clean up of the upstairs space before leaving. Please plan accordingly. Our sitters are members of our congregation and doing a difficult and important job on the high holidays. Please remember to treat them with respect.
To make reservations please fill out this form.
