High Holiday Appeal 5782
A High Holiday Message from Marc Balban President of KTM
Dear Congregation members and friends,
As the summer starts to fade, we once again begin to prepare ourselves for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This past year as a congregation we have come together in unprecedented ways. We successfully moved into our beautiful new building, conducted safe operations during the Covid-19 pandemic, and reestablished communal activities within the shul. The support, chesed and kindness shared amongst our shul family and the Jewish community at large, truly embodies the essence of Kadimah-Toras Moshe. It is due to your continued unwavering support that we have been able to keep our shul community vibrant and functioning.
As many of you may know, membership dues only cover approximately a third of the annual expenses of running the shul and due to Covid-19, the shul has made significant effort, at substantial expense, to provide our services to as many people as possible. We rely on the generosity of our members to continue to provide our community a synagogue that engages the modern world through the prism of Torah and tradition. With that in mind, this year, our annual High Holiday Campaign, which has always been a vital shul fundraiser, has now become even more critical. We are turning to our family to humbly ask for your generous (ongoing/increased) support.
Let’s come together as a unified family to continue providing vital adult and youth programming, charitable support and chesed within our community, and to enable us to maintain and grow our facility to ensure our synagogue’s future for each other and our families for years to come.
Thank you in advance for your support and participation at a level which reflects your ability and commitment to our community. May our Tzedakah, along with our Teshuva and Tefillah ensure us and klal Yisrael a year of good health, happiness, and success.
Sincerely
Marc Balban
