Join us for a brief discussion of the halachot of Shmittat kessafim and their historical fulfillment in the US, followed by a discussion with Robert Housman about his founding and running Yad Chessed.
Yad Chessed provides financial assistance to those in need as well as providing interest free loans and a special program to fulfill the mitzvah of Matanot l'Evyonim for Purim. Recently Yad Chessed celebrated its 25th anniversary.
