HH Children's Programming and Childcare

Congregation Kadimah Toras-Moshe is pleased to, once again, offer supervised, safe programming and babysitting on the High Holidays.

Storyteller Andrea Kamens takes your kids on a magic carpet to the witty and wise times of
King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, into a dance party in an east African jungle, and
deep into the heart of the question!

HOURS: 9:00 AM-1:30 PM on Rosh Hashana (Day 1 & Day 2) and  9:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Yom Kippur.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Lunch will be provided on Yom Kippur only to allow the parents to daven longer while their children can enjoy lunch upstairs in the shul.

  • Parents need to connect with the babysitter when they drop off their chid(ren). Discuss food allergies or other information the babysitter should be aware of. You should remain on the premises during the entire time your child(ren) is/are registered with the childcare providers.Since there is a limited number of children we can accommodate, we need to know as soon as possible to have babysitters in place. And, I need to know the exact count for lunch, snacks and beverages.

  • To register your child(ren) for babysitting. Please let us know no later than September 1.

If your guest’s children need babysitting services, or if you have any questions please contact Cheryl Sisel at cheryls18@aol.com.

Yizkor Book 5779 (2018-2019)

Our congregation prints a booklet with the Yizkor prayers and a list of individuals who we remember in a special way with those prayers. We use this booklet throughout the year, and we would like to include the names of the people that you wish to remember. The Yizkor prayers are printed in the book in Hebrew, English and Russian, enabling everyone to fully participate.

The cost is $25 to participate and that includes listing three names. Additional names can be listed for $5 each. Filling the form on line will allow you to pay by credit card, and will allow us to process your form and donation more quickly. However, if you prefer to pay by check, you may fill out the enclosed form and return it with a check to the KTM office by July 10. Please be sure to write “yizkor book” in the memo line, and to include your telephone number and an email address so that if necessary, we can check the spelling or answer any question me might have.

To participate in the Yizkor book please follow this link.

Sisterhood Membership

As the New Year approaches, we would like to ask our members to contribute to the Sisterhood Fund by paying your Annual Sisterhood Membership fee.

Sisterhood donations and fundraising help run the kitchen, add items to the Shul needs that can't be covered by the Shul budget (i.e. the renovated ladies' room, the Siddur bookcases, coatroom, renovation of the Shul kitchen and storeroom, add items to the Children's Program, etc.), sponsors the Annual Chanukah Party that honors that year's Bat Mitzvah Girls with a special gift, and the annual Pre-Pesach Learning and Mother's Day Kiddush - among others.

Please, click here for paying your dues and learn more about our Sisterhood.
