We run four children's groups each shabbat and on yomim tovim. All groups are followed by a childen's kiddush upstairs, and end in time for children to join the adult kiddush downstairs. The children's kiddush is sponsored by parents on a monthly rotation.
Toddler Group, ages 0-3.9
Start time: 10:30. Children attending are expected to have a parent accompanying them. There is a rotation of parents who lead the group in simple tefillot and singing, followed by a parsha- or holiday-related story or activity.
Early Reader Group, ages 4-6
Start time: 10:30. Led by a teen from the shul and assisted by one or more parents on rotation. Includes davening from a simplified, large-print siddur and discussion of the parsha and parsha-related stories.
Junior Congregation, boys ages 7-12
Start time: 10:15. Led by an older teen from the shul. Learn how to lead davening and prepare divrei Torah.
Junior Congregation, girls ages 7-11
Start time: 10:15. Led by an older teen from the shul. Davening from the siddur, discussion of the parsha.
