The Mitzvah to Remember the Exodus:
Expression of Gratitude or Recognition of Destiny

What is the key message of the story of the Exodus, and how is it supposed to shape our Jewish life? We will explore the Biblical roots of the commandment to remember the Exodus - to highlight the contrast between emphasizing the need to thank God for ‘what He did’, and the need to understand ‘why He did it’. This contrast will help us appreciate what lies at the core "hashkafa" (world view) of Modern Orthodoxy, as well as the wealth of opportunities that sit at our Seder table.

Mincha at 6:55, followed by Maariv.
