Richie Citron was a true mensch. He treated everyone around him, co-workers and staff, patients, fellow members of congregation KTM, friends and family, with respect, care, and a conscious awareness of Torah values. His sense of humor and his wisdom were valued by all. He loved Torah and learning. He never hesitated to ask hard questions and at the same time his commitment was very deep. Richie would always remember the past and his belief in the future of our people never wavered. He was truly a man of the world and a Ben Torah. He embodied the values of Modern Orthodoxy.

The L'Chaim Richie Citron Speakers Fund was established to bring to Kadimah-Toras Moshe speakers of interest on all aspects of modern Orthodox Jewish life. Richie valued serious scholarship, critical analysis and continuity of tradition. We believe the fund will enshrine these values, enriching Torah education and Modern Orthodoxy. It is our hope that it will be a fitting memorial to Richie and will enable our entire community to grow in knowledge and appreciation of Torah. May our efforts truly bring "Chaim" to Richie's memory and a Torat Chaim to the community he loved.
