Dear Congregation Member,

Pursuant to Article IV, Section 1 of the By-Laws of Congregation Kadimah-Toras Moshe, a regular meeting of the Congregation is being scheduled for Sunday June 10, 2007 at 9:30 a.m.

Enclosed you will find the slate of officers presented to the Board of Directors by a Nominating Committee. You may place other individuals in nomination by writing them in next to the office or by moving their nomination at the Meeting. Please be certain that anyone you nominate has agreed to the nomination before you nominate them. You may mark your list now and send it in or you may wait until the congregation meeting. it is strongly suggested that you place the marked ballot in a small unmarked envelope and then place that smaller envelope inside a larger envelope. You should then mark the outside envelope: "Ballot from _____". This will make it easier to preserve the confidentiality of your voting.

After the opportunity for making any additional nominations from the floor has passed, nominations will be closed and everyone will be invited to vote. If you are unable to be present to vote, please return your ballot to the Synagogue Office before 9:30 a.m. on Sunday June 10, 2007. Please be sure to enclose your ballot in an envelope with your name on the outside, so that we will be able to verify your membership status.

Please note that only members in good standing may vote. Section 2 of Article VII of the By-Laws define a member in good standing as one "who is not in arrears for dues for more than six months." A Family Membership entitles the husband and wife to one (1) vote each.
